What We Believe

Cathedral  of Amazing Grace is founded on the principles of the Great Commission  that was given before Jesus ascended back to the Father after the  Resurrection. 

“All power on heaven and on earth has been given to  me. Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them  in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am  with you always, to the end of the age.” 

This charge was not  just for the disciples of old but for leaders and disciples of Jesus  today. We have been blessed and embraced by God’s Grace and as we carry  on his work here on earth

We at Cathedral of Grace believe in  God, the only Holy Father and that Jesus, the Christ is his Son. We  believe that when Jesus physically left this earth, he sent us a  comforter who is the Holy Spirit. We believe the three called the  Godhead for the Holy Trinity. And this is a bond that can never be  broken. We believe that Jesus was the first Apostle because He was sent  by God the Father. He was born of a Woman, baptized by John the Baptist,  was crucified on the orders of Pontius Pilate was buried descended into  the depths to allow those who were lost to hear the Good News Conquered  the mystery of death and proclaimed that All Power is in His Hand. He  arose on the third day to followers who did not truly know Him. 

We  believe that God’s daughters have a vital place in the kingdom and Eve  was made for Adam with a specific purpose.  Because God’s daughters have  a place in the kingdom, they have a place in the church. We know that  our sisters Deborah, Priscilla, Mary Magdalene, Esther, Tabitha, Joanna  and others had special talents that were used for the kingdom. Our  sisters today also have talents that are needed for the kingdom. 

We  believe that the Father intended to have an everlasting relationship  with us when he placed Adam in the Garden of Eden.  When the father  determined that Adam needed help. he made Eve from his rib for her to  walk side by side with him to tend the Garden and to be a help mate.   Unfortunately, Adam and Eve listened to a voice that was not God’s and  changed the plan that the Father had for mankind. 

We believe  that Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of  things not seen. Faith is what has brought us through trials and  tribulations and to the formation of this church. It is the faith of the  founders and the love of God that brought Cathedral of Grace into  existence
